In each town you pick the name you go by and your color (it paints your roof, car, mailbox, flag and name tag). Nobody else in that town can use the same name or a color too close to yours.

Google Calendar
Your character goes where your calendar says. Luma reads every calendar under My calendars. It picks the building each event belongs to by name, and asks an AI model when the name doesn't say (for example "CS 1332" → University), so your event titles and locations are sent to that model. Events it can't place count as around town. Townmates only see the place ("At the University"), never your event titles. Checked every few minutes.

What friends can see
Luma only shows what you choose to share, and never makes things up about you.
- Friends see your name, @username, character and interests.
- People in your towns also see the name and color you picked there, your house, and your character walking around.
- Anything you share (like a good week or a rough one) is shown the way you pick: fully, vaguely, or not at all.
- Nothing leaves the town (a message, an invite, a plan) unless a person approves it.
- Nobody can find you by email, only by your username.

Download a copy of your profile, towns, friends and everything you've shared, as a JSON file.
Delete account
Permanently deletes your profile, friends, shared updates and characters. Towns you created pass to their longest-standing member; empty ones are deleted. This can't be undone.
Help
Luma is a little isometric town where every character is one of your real friends. The town notices what's going on in friends' lives (only what they share) and suggests real-world ways to show up for each other.
How do friends find me?
By your @username. Share it with them, or search for theirs in the Friends tab. Nobody can search by email.
How do I join a town?
A town's creator can invite any of their friends, or give out the town's invite code. When you join, you pick the name you'll go by there and your color.
What does the town know about me?
Only what you choose to share, shown fully, vaguely or not at all. See Privacy & data.
Can the town message my friends for me?
No. Characters can suggest things inside the town, but nothing reaches a real person unless a human approves it.
How do I change my look, name or color?
Your character's look is the same everywhere: change it in Your character. Your name and color are picked per town when you join, and you can change them in Towns. Nobody in the same town can share your name or a color too close to yours.
How do I leave a town or delete my account?
Leave a town from your profile or Settings → Towns. If you created it, it passes to whoever has been there longest. Deleting your account is in Privacy & data.
